My youngest and toughest client…
All my clients are special – but this one was a little extra special and I have to say one of my toughest clients – my younger sister! She turned 16 a couple of months ago and of course everything from the invites to the candy bar had to designed to perfection!
I wanted the card to scream her and one of the most distinct features is her extremely long hair (which is down to her waist – maybe past that!) so keeping this unique feature in mind. I thought why not have the labels, buffet cards, thank you favour stickers for the candy, and the invite just be all tangled? Lucky for me she loved it! Let me know what you think!
Cheers, Puja
Happy Holidays!
Kismet Wedding Show Media Wall Fun!
First and foremost a very Happy Eid to everyone!
Media walls are great additions to your event. Here is a picture of one of the many fabulous couples I made a media wall for! They seem to be the “it” item at everyone’s parties! It’s a great way to interact with your guest and grab a picture with each and every one of them – and saves you the trouble of going around tables during the party! The key to a beautiful media wall is getting a logo design. If you’re going to do it – do it right! A logo is very important, and everyone will be seeing it especially if it’s on your media wall, and will be in all the pictures. Contact today to find out more about how you can add a little fun and excitement to your event with a custom-made media wall from Vibrance Designs. Also be sure to check out all the fun we had with our Vibrance edia wall at the Kismet 2010 Wedding Show!
Sharing Cultures
- Front & Back
A key piece to weddings – which is often just looked over and rushed—is the wedding program. The reason is simple – it helps your guest know what’s going on. We live in this wonderful place where diversity is everywhere, we have friends and family who may not share the same culture as you, and it’s always nice to have a program to guide you through this new wedding experience. The program is sometimes the one design element your guests may look at longer than your invite, or anything else, so having it designed in a way that not only represent you but continues to build on your “brand” is always important.
This is a couple I worked with where the bride and groom had two different cultures and it was very important for her to share a her Sikh culture but not to overpower the “South Asian” design.
A little different …
Hello everyone,
Hope you all had a fabulous weekend. This is a little something different. Normally I find most South Asian couple try to stay away from black and white, for whatever reason, family values, religion etc. So it came to a surprise when I got a couple who insisted the main colour of their invite be black!
It was actually really fun to steer away from all the colours of the rainbow for a change and make something that is very subtle. I still had to throw in a punch color — bright yellow!
Anyways hope you like! Tune in for a bring branded wedding coming soon to a post near you!
Cheers,
Puja
P.S.: We are working on those pictures! Need to edit and make them PERFECT – so stay tuned for the Kismet Media Wall Fun! Coming Soon!
